About The Flower Show
About The Flower Show
The Flower Show is a well-known landscape exhibition boasting
more than 360 species under one roof.
Volunteers from Clanwilliam annually create a living landscape exhibition in the Flower Church for flower enthusiasts to enjoy.
The Clanwilliam Wild Flower Society is passionate about the conservation of the region’s flora.
It is basically impossible to view the vast array of unique and beautiful flowers without going to great lengths. At the Flower Show, flower enthusiasts can admire many different species of flowers from close-up. The show is popular amongst gardening enthusiasts, florists, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of flowers.

REALISE
Our region is a sea of colour during the months of spring. It is not only the colours of wildflowers that make this time of year so special, but also the colourful fruits of the citrus plantations, vineyards, vegetable and grain crops. We need to maintain a balance between the development of agriculture and the economy, as well as preserving the natural ecosystem of our region.
REALIGN
Climate change is a very harsh but unfortunately true reality, and with it comes the responsibility of conservation and recovery. The future we are leaving for our children begins today. Our generation needs to stop en improve the damage that has been done to nature without affecting food supply.
REAPPLY
Our committee aims to launch a project for the replanting of natural flora on previously disturbed land. The rehabilitation of these grounds through planting various plant species is our way of giving back to the ecosystem, ensuring that our children can appreciate these species when they are older and reapply what is necessary in order to do what is necessary in the fight against climate change.
A UNIQUE ECOSYSTEM BECAUSE OF THE MERGE
BETWEEN THE FOUR FLORAL BIOMES
Clanwilliam is situated at a spot where four of the eight biomes meet, allowing it to showcase a diverse array of ecosystems.
The merge of the four biomes creates an encompassing distinctive ecosystem.
The flower people are passionate about showing visitors why it is so important to conserve this unique biodiversity.
